In order to celebrate the 110 anniversary establishement of Fudan University, the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering held an academic seminar on the environmental management research on 26 May. Pro. Cunkuan BAO was the host of the Environmental Management Group.

     On the seminar, Pro. Xingyi DAI made a speech of in-depth comments on the recently released China’s water management policy firstly. Then Pro. Xinjun WANG gave his report on the history and trends of Shanghai’s city planning. Assist Prof. Ping JIANG, director assistant of Fudan Tyndall Centre presented his research outcomes on the topic of co-benefits of greenhouse gases reduction and air pollution control. Dr. Jia HE introduced the policy and research histories and trends of the environmental planning field in China. At last, Prof. Cunkuan BAO made his report on the reform of the environmental impact assessment system.

    27 May 2015 is the 110 anniversary of Fudan. This seminar is one of the serial celebration activities.
