Dr Sara Fuller, Senior Lecturer of Department of Geography and Planning, Macquarie University (Australia) , will give you a lecture, the topic of lecture is “Governing climate change: global and local perspectives”. She wants to use this lecture to let you get:
1. To consider the role of the state in the global governance of climate change;
2. To be aware of the diversity of (non-state) actors involved in global and local climate governance;
3. To explore two case studies of non-state local action on climate change: corporate action and community action;
4. To understand the public and private spheres in global climate governance.
