Professor Rasmus Gjedss Bertelsen is a Danish scholar who is dong the study on the international relations in the Arctic region. He is now the professor of UNIVERSITY OF TROMSØ-THE ARCTIC UNIVERSITY OF NORWAY, senior Researcher of Aalborg University (Denmark), Senior Research Fellow of INSTITUTE FOR SECURITY AND DEVELOPMENT POLICY 0f Stockholm, guest researcher of University of Iceland.

Prof Bertelsen’s research interests include: the Arctic knowledge in the application of international politics and political economy, "science diplomacy" role in the Arctic governance under the globalization and circumstance of rights transfer, the role of human resources in the local interests in the Arctic, natural resources and sustainable development in the Arctic.
